On May 21, 2024, with the presence of the presidency of Qaiwan International University, and participation of several intellectuals, lecturers, and students, a panel discussion was held at QIU entitled "Being a Kurd and the Need to Confront the Self-Destructive Discourse," featuring Dr. Mohsin Adib, General Director of Culture and Arts of Sulaimani, and Dr. Kamaran Mohammed, an expert in the historical philosophy.
